As a historical site, on the Jamnagar Road of Mani, near Vyali Ghodi and Sadpader, there is the revered temple of Lord Shri Ramdevji Maharaj, which is praised as “Kha Ram Randabandham.”
The Mahant, Shamjibapu, himself built a small hut from millet straw and established the idol of Shri Ramdevji Maharaj. During that time, Mawji Kuja was the Taluka Pramukh and a resident of Sadpader. By the immense grace of Lord Shri Ramdevji Maharaj, a child was born in his house. Hence, he contributed to the construction of this temple. Additionally, with the help of people from nearby villages such as Metoda, Sadpader, Vyali Ghodi, Pati Rampar, and Bodi Ghodi, this temple was built, and a small shrine was established at this place.
By the immense grace of Bhagwan Shri Shamdevji Maharaj, in this Shaam, no life has ever faced any difficulties in any matter or during drought due to water scarcity. After that, Ramjibapu prayed to Ramdevji Maharaj inside the temple of Ramdevji Maharaj.
At that time, a devotee named Mal was playing there… and he lifted a stone and said, “Wherever this stone falls, Hanumanji will be established at that place.” Thus, Lord Shri Hanumanji Maharaj resides at that place. The stone was named Sidhari Stone. And this devotee Mal believed that those who worship Hanumanji with their wisdom and faith would be tested…
At that time, the disciples of Ramjibapu—Shameshwar Anda (Vachali Ghodi), Mahapa (Sadpader), Ghughru Bomb (Vachali), and all other devotees—offered their service and received blessings. Before that time, Ramjibapu had also settled at Ranum Golita near Visaman. Even today, its existence remains. During that time, Ramjibapu used to travel on foot to religious places like Somnath, Dwarka, and Tulsi Shyam. After that, he established himself in the Simala of Vachali Ghodi.
Ramjibapu took a vow that he would stay only in villages where prayers, worship, and bhajans of God were performed. A remarkable and memorable incident of Bapu was that when Sukhdi was offered as prasad, it never got finished, no matter how much was distributed. This is the devotion of Ramjibapu.
For two years, Bapu performed intense penance in the wilderness. He did not consume any grains but survived by drinking neem tree milk. This story is still witnessed as evidence by Lap. When Ramjibapu had not yet adopted the attire of a saint, he was deeply devoted to Bhagwan Shri Ramdevji Maharaj and used to serve saints. He was very fond of devotion.
